Enzyme supplementation in animal feed has numerous benefits whether it is derived from purified enzymes or fermentation by-products. Both bacterial and fungal amylases aid in the overall health of animals by increasing nutritional utilization of non-starch polysaccharides. BIO-CAT is pleased to offer the following biological products: •Bacillus subtilis fermentation by-product with bacterial amylase activity •Aspergillus oryzae fermentation by-product with fungal amylase activity •A blend of Aspergillus oryzae and Bacillus subtilis fermentation by-product with amylase activity These products may be standardized at various strengths on a wheat bran carrier. These materials are considered GRAS animal feed ingredients and supplementation of these products into animal feed applications may be desirable where hydrolytic enzyme activity is desired.
