Power Pack contains a blend of concentrated, viable spores of selected, naturally occurring Bacillus bacteria with a minimum of 2.5 billion CFU per gram. These strains are selected for their synergistic ability to completely break down proteins, complex carbohydrates, fats, oils and organic acids -- major constituents of shrimp feeds and feces -- into carbon dioxide and water instead of polluting slime and mucilaginous compounds. These compounds are characteristically produced by the indigenous microflora. Power Pack also contains spores from a strain of bacillus that produces large quantities of hydrolytic enzymes that degrade decaying organic matter at the bottom of the pond, reducing the accumulation of sludge and black hydrogen sulfide loaded mud. |
