The BioStart™ product line is composed of microbial soil inoculants that enhance biodiversity in soil. Enhanced biodiversity results in improved crop yields, greater nitrogen utilization, and lower incidence of disease. BCM has selected naturally occurring strains for their ability to grow in the root zone of food and ornamental crops. They interact symbiotically on the root surface where they produce beneficial enzymes and growth promoting substances while competitively excluding pathogenic microorganisms.

BioStart™ RhizoBoost introduces large numbers of probiotic bacteria that promote the growth of a variety of beneficial microorganisms and biodiversity. The four bacillus strains used in BioStart™ RhizoBoost are naturally occurring and have been selected for their ability to grow in the root zone of crops. The Bacillus strains in BioStart™ RhizoBoost are produced in stainless steel bioreactors under precisely controlled conditions that assure potency, stability and batch-to-batch uniformity.
